Kitchen and Cafeteria
The following information is provided to you for your benefit and is subject to change. Our kitchen staff and team of volunteers make every effort to provide a nutritious menu and a variety of foods to meet the dietary needs and preferences of all our patrons (members, volunteers, guests and staff).
Our kitchen team, consisting of three staff and countless volunteers, prepare a full meal consisting of a meat, a starch (potato, pasta, rice...) and vegetables once a week on Wednesdays. Throughout the week they ensure that a variety of hot and cold sandwiches, freshly made soups and desserts are available. Our aim is to ensure that seniors and patrons of the cafeteria have access to a low cost and nutritious meal, while dining in a safe, relaxing and comfortable environment.

Hours of Operation:
Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 2:30pm
Breakfast Service:
Daily from 8:00am to 10:30am.
Lunch Service:
Daily from 11:00am to 1:00pm.
Kitchen Volunteer Opportunities
The Food Services Department also provides meaningful volunteer and student placement opportunities. Many kitchen volunteer positions are available Monday to Friday. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the Director of Operations at 604.684.8171 (236).
